Function and Technology
The ropeFuel Sensor uses a sensitive liquid detection cable that reacts upon contact with liquid hydrocarbons. As soon as fuel or oil touches the cable, an alarm signal is generated. A particularly practical feature: the sensor pinpoints the leak to within one meter or foot, allowing quick isolation and sealing.

Sensor Construction
- Sensor module: electronic unit with RJ45 interface
- Sensor cable: sensitive section for hydrocarbon detection

Scope of delivery: sensor including 5-foot RJ45/CAT5 cable, extendable up to 30 meters. The rugged housing (56 × 55 × 33.3 mm) and cable diameter of approx. 7 mm allow flexible mounting on DIN rails or via screw fixtures.
