Functionality

The Rope Water Sensor uses capacitive measurement technology that reliably detects even distilled and deionized water. Multiple readings per second ensure that escaping condensation or other liquids are detected immediately.

Integration into Monitoring Networks

The Rope Water Sensor connects via RJ45 using Cat5e/6 cabling. Thanks to AutoSense, the AKCP monitoring system automatically detects the sensor and integrates it into the web interface. Through SNMP, data can be sent to leading monitoring platforms such as Nagios, OpenNMS, PRTG, IBM Tivoli, WhatsUp Gold, and Zabbix.

Water leak detection is carried out through continuous measurements several times per second, which makes it possible to immediately detect even the smallest amounts of condensate leaking from air conditioning systems.
